Dr. Hani Chaabo is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine, Integrative Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, with a passion for delivering holistic, preventive healthcare to underserved communities. He brings a diverse and accomplished background to his role as Chief Clinical and Wellness Officer at El Dorado Community Health Centers.
Dr. Chaabo earned his medical degree from the University of Balamand – Saint George Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at West Virginia University – Charleston Area Medical Center, followed by multiple fellowships in Integrative Medicine (University of Arizona), Primary Care Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine (University of California, Irvine), and is currently completing a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UC Irvine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Chaabo has served in clinical, educational, and leadership roles. He directed a stress reduction clinic and served as Medical Director of Well-being at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, where his work earned recognition from the American Medical Association’s Joy in Medicine program. He has developed and led mindfulness-based lifestyle programs, with a strong focus on marginalized and underserved populations, including Middle Eastern refugees and LGBTQ communities.
Dr. Chaabo’s approach integrates nutritional therapy, mind-body medicine, cognitive behavioral therapy, lifestyle medicine, and biofeedback to support whole-person care. As a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Leading Physician Well-Being Ambassador, he remains dedicated to fostering a culture of wellness both for his patients and the broader healthcare team.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Chaabo enjoys writing, yoga, forest bathing, and playing the piano.

Dr. Erin Cotton, MD earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, before obtaining her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. She completed her residency at the Sutter Family Practice Residency Program in Sacramento in 2014, where she was honored to serve as chief resident during her final year. Following her residency, Dr. Cotton relocated to Western Australia, where she contributed to the Wirraka Maya Health Service, a community health center dedicated to serving rural Aboriginal communities.
In mid-2016, Dr. Cotton returned to the United States and joined the EDCHC team, collaborating with a dedicated staff to provide compassionate care to patients. Her professional interests lie in family medicine, particularly in women’s health and pediatrics. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Cotton and her family developed a passion for Northern California’s outdoor lifestyle during her residency. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, and engaging in outdoor activities with her husband and three children.

Andrea Quintana, PA-C obtained her undergraduate degree from UC Santa Cruz before completing her Masters/Physician Assistant training at UC Davis. During her program at UC Davis, Andrea worked in several community health center settings before joining the EDCHC. A Placerville native, Andrea is excited for the opportunity to now give back to her home community. With her family, Andrea enjoys doing outdoor activities such as hiking with their dog, kayaking, camping, and gardening.

Dr. Hai Le, MD completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine and his Family Medicine residency at Valley Consortium for Medical Education in Modesto, CA. Throughout his residency, Dr. Le had the pleasure of caring for the area’s most vulnerable patient population; both a rewarding and humbling experience. Relating to his patients as he and his family were once categorized as underserved, Dr. Le joined EDCHC for the opportunity to continue working with a similar patient population, as well as for the friendly atmosphere. His hobbies include fishing, hiking, taking long walks with his family, and various sports such as basketball and martial arts.

Dr. William Klas, MD has dedicated over three decades to serving the residents of El Dorado County. He earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, and subsequently obtained his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, in 1986. Following this, he completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Washington Network in Boise, Idaho. Prior to his tenure at the El Dorado Community Health Center (EDCHC), Dr. Klas practiced in both solo and group settings, with affiliations that included Marshall and UC Davis. After a brief departure from Placerville, he returned to academia as a professor at the UC Davis Family Medicine residency program and contributed his expertise to a community health center in Sonoma.
Dr. Klas is board certified in family medicine and holds additional certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties through the American Board of Family Medicine. His extensive experience and commitment to quality care have made him a valuable asset to EDCHC, where he imparts his knowledge and wisdom to both patients and colleagues. He has been recognized with awards from the Fellow American Academy of Family Physicians, reflecting his dedication to the field. Dr. Klas chose to return to El Dorado County to continue his work in a community health center environment, emphasizing his commitment to serving the local population at EDCHC.
Away from work, Dr. Klas enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including golf and hiking, and he occasionally trains for endurance events. He cherishes the time spent traveling with his family, especially visiting Echo Lake.

Dr. Harpreet Singh, MD obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Davis before earning his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. During his residency at Valley Consortium in Modesto, he worked his rotations at a local community health center where he treated the underserved and underinsured. Dr. Singh joined EDCHC because he values building strong relationships with patients to give them the best care in a community health setting. He enjoys spending his free time with friends and family while traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, watching and playing basketball. Fun Fact: Dr. Singh was also voted class clown by his class during residency.

Reyhan Anbarghalami, FNP graduated with a BSN from Mashad, School of Nursing and Health Science in Iran. She realized her dedication to patient care and completed her MSN, as a Family Nurse Practitioner in May of 2007 from the Texas Woman’s University (TWU) in Dallas Texas. Reyhan has a strong background in nephrology the study of the kidneys and has done extensive work with patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). She now lives in the El Dorado community and she is focused on improving the health of the community.

Lisa Lefanty, FNP graduated from Regis University with two master’s degrees, Master of Nursing Leadership- Management & Master of Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in the healthcare field as a registered nurse working in programs related to pregnancy, Newborn Nursery, Telephone Triage, Med Surg/Telemetry/ICU. PeriAnesthesia Cardiac Catheterization, GastroIntestinal and Intervential Radiology. Her hobbies include traveling, and outdoor activities. Justine Szekely, PA-C has a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from San Diego State and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UC Davis with a master’s degree in Health Services. Bryn Lawson, a dedicated Physician’s Assistant, earned her PA degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions located in Provo, Utah. Throughout her clinical rotations, she acquired valuable experience in family medicine at health centers in Auburn, California, and Wellington, Texas. In addition to her competencies as a physician’s assistant, Bryn holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and QPR Suicide Gatekeeper training.
Before embarking on her educational journey, Bryn gained practical experience as a physical therapy technician at a community rehabilitation center. During her studies, she actively volunteered at a local free health clinic, further enhancing her commitment to healthcare. Bryn was drawn to a career with EDCHC due to her admiration for the center’s core values and the dedication of its staff to improving healthcare services in El Dorado County. Having been raised in Northern California, she is eager to contribute to the community that nurtured her. In her leisure time, Bryn enjoys working out at the gym, painting, and spending quality moments with her family and dogs.

Lyah Castleberry completed her education at the University of California, Davis. She gained valuable clinical experience through her rotation at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Tulare, as well as in emergency and urgent care settings. During PA school, she also volunteered at local free health clinics, deepening her commitment to community-based care.
Having grown up in an underserved region, Lyah was inspired to give back to communities with limited access to healthcare resources. Influenced by her parents, both nurses, she developed a strong passion for medicine and strives to provide selfless, compassionate, and empathetic care to every patient she serves.
Outside of work, Lyah enjoys hiking, camping, and pilates. She recently started needle painting and loves creating art, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the outdoors. She is also certified in Nexplanon and IUD placement.

Amy Robles completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, and earned her Physician Assistant degree from the University of the Pacific PA Program in Sacramento, California.
Before PA school, Amy worked as a medical scribe at a community health center clinic in Lindsay, California, where she was born and raised. It was through this experience—building meaningful connections with patients and being part of their care—that she discovered her passion for community health and decided to pursue higher education as a Physician Assistant.
During her PA training, Amy had the opportunity to rotate at community health centers and hospitals serving individuals with limited medical resources, which deepened her commitment to accessible, compassionate care.

Dr. Joe Alfeghaly completed medical school at the University of Balamand in Beirut, Lebanon. He continued his medical training through an Internal Medicine residency at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center in Beirut, followed by a second Internal Medicine residency at TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Before joining El Dorado Community Health Centers, Dr. Alfeghaly worked as a primary care physician in New Castle, Kentucky, caring for underserved patients at Baptist Health. His experience in rural medicine and community-focused care strengthened his commitment to serving diverse populations.
Dr. Alfeghaly chose EDCHC because he immediately felt a strong sense of belonging. He was drawn to the organization’s mission to serve people first — especially underserved communities — which aligns closely with his personal and professional values. He believes that high-quality care should be accessible to everyone and is proud to contribute to a team that shares this commitment.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Alfeghaly enjoys reading, writing fiction (particularly science fiction and fantasy), stargazing, nature photography, and playing basketball. He also loves inventing desserts without following any recipes.

Dr. Cazan completed her medical education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and went on to complete her Family Medicine residency training at the University of California, Riverside.
During residency, Dr. Cazan trained for three years in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), where she developed strong clinical expertise while caring for medically underserved communities. In addition to her clinical knowledge and skillset, she brings deep compassion and a genuine commitment to serving patients who face barriers to care.
Dr. Cazan chose to work at El Dorado Community Health Center as both a personal and vocational calling. Having grown up in a socioeconomically disadvantaged neighborhood, she understands firsthand the challenges many families face, including limited access to affordable healthcare coverage. She feels deeply connected to communities like the one she serves and is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best possible health.
Outside of work, Dr. Cazan loves being a mom and spending quality time with her family and church community.
