Maddi received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in social work from Chico State University. She is originally from Arizona, but Sacramento has been home base since she was 10 years old. She has also lived in Chico, California and Mount Airy, Maryland. Maddi feels it important to be collaborative with each patient, and considers each patient as unique, considering their history, culture, perspectives, strengths, and challenges. Utilizing a Relational, Person-Centered, and trauma informed approach, she integrates multiple modalities and interventions to assist patients (i.e. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and more). Maddi identifies as queer, trans, and non-binary, and is passionate in working with trans and queer community, and lifting up various LGBTQIA + stories and narratives as a valued truth. In her free time, Maddi loves to be in nature, watch and read both sci fi and fantasy, spend time with her loved ones, and spends much of her time with her two cats Dot and Cloud.
