Life’s Chapters Support Group (1)The EDCHC Behavioral Health Department in Cameron Park will be launching a new support group for adults aged 55 and older, beginning on June 04th, 2025! This ongoing, open group will meet every Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:30 pm

The group is designed to encourage peer support and connection among participants. Please note, this is not a psychotherapy or crisis intervention group.

Planned topics include, but are not limited to:

  1. Celebrating Nostalgia: Music, Movies, TV, & More
  2. Honoring Grief
  3. Role Changes & Family in Later Life
  4. End of Life Planning
  5. Chronic Illness
  6. Navigating Medi-Cal & Benefits
  7. Life Review
